What is Komodore?
Komodore is a set of communication tools focused on the needs of the holiday rental property hosts. 

We utilize email automation, the Virtual Assistant and the Welcome Book to include and optimize the entire communication process with the guests before, during and after the trip.
What is Komodore not?
Komodore is not a property management system (PMS). Moreover, Komodore does not manage check in or check out, collections or cleaning lists, for example.

Our goal is to automate the entire communication process with guests to optimise hosts' time management and improve the overall travel experience.
Will Komodore automate all communication with my guests?
Automation is applied to the repetitive part of communication, where an intelligent system can act quickly and efficiently to answer frequently asked questions from guests.

With Komodore, the host can adapt and personalize their messages automatically, instead of copying and pasting generic messages, but it does not remove control over the flow of messages sent and answered by this feature.
How to automate communication with my guests?
Komodore used three different methods to automate communication with guests: Email, the Virtual Assistant and the Welcome Book, each with a different purpose.
 
Email is used to automate the whole information flow about the reservation, from the moment of booking confirmation to check-out.

It's the virtual assistant's mission to answer all frequently raised concerns the guests may have via the instant messaging system.

The Welcome Book gathers all the information about the terms of the rental.
Can I customize Komodore for my holiday property?
In the set up process, the host will create a personalized profile for each holiday property managed. With this information, Komodore is able to automate communication, taking into account the specificities of each rental.

Can I customize the messages that will be sent to my guests?
Yes, the entire communication system is designed to be configured in a personalized way by the host for each holiday property managed. Information such as check-in and check-out times, house rules or location.
Can I answer the messages myself?
Even though it automates the entire flow of communication, Komodore offers the host the freedom to edit the content of the messages or to answer any questions in a personalized way. The host can view and monitor the communication flow within this feature at all times.
What is a virtual assistant and how can it help me?
The virtual assistant is an intelligent system that automatically answers questions that are configured in your database.

The robot simulates a chat with a human and uses instant messaging apps as a channel for that conversation. It is not necessary for your guest to download any additional applications to start using the feature.
What languages does Komodore speak?
Komodore can send messages and answer questions in Spanish and English. The system detects the language of the conversation, and responds to the guest in this language.
What channels can Komodore connect to?
Komodore works with the main sales channels of the holiday rental market: Airbnb, Booking and HomeAway.

The connection process is simple and works to synchronize the calendars of the channels in Komodore.
Can I add reservations manually in Komodore?
Yes, in Komodore you can add the guest data manually and thus include direct reservations in the communication automation process.
What happens if guests have some kind of incident that Komodore cannot manage?
If the system detects any question that cannot be answered with the information it has available in the database, the host is notified via email immediately.

If the problem occurs during the period of the guest's stay in the rental, this message will be given top priority.

The guest will always have access to your contact information through Komodore and can contact you directly.
How much is it?

Is my information safe?
Yes, we consider all the information related to your account to be confidential, and that is why we take sure measures to protect it.

For security measures, different IP protocols, screen monitoring and encryption of sensitive information are used.

In addition, all employees sign a confidentiality clause and they are trained to handle secure information.

Under no circumstances do we share your data with anyone other than you and our employees.
